1920’s Art Deco Garage - East Cleveland, Ohio

Small c.1925 automobile garage, east side Cleveland, OH  - The light was moving fast when I stood in front of this little garage and took this picture. I had turned down the street just to make a U-turn and saw it and it just begged to be photographed.  It was built in the mid 1920s, you can tell by the Art Deco style  even on this humble little garage, the metal corners on the base of the garage doors are signature from that era. I wondered how many little businesses had started in the spot with such hope and then maybe moved onto greater things or not.

I was in town meeting my son and got this shot just as it was getting dark.  I shot this photo with a OnePlus 8 using the wide angle lens at f/1.8 which makes objects in the distance appear to lean away from each other.  It makes some people itch but I kinda like it.
